India-based games and esports company Nodwin Gaming has acquired gaming agency Trinity Gaming for INR 24 crore ($2.8 million) 

The Nazara subsidiary will pay INR 4.8 crore ($560,000) in cash, while the remaining INR 19.2 crore ($2.26m) will be settled through a swap of Nodwin Gaming's equity shares.

Nodwin said it acquired the company for its expertise in content creation, digital marketing, and agency activations that can help it form new partnerships with creators and brands. It also plans to strengthen Trinity’s portfolio in emerging markets like Southeast Asia, Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East. 

Creating new opportunities 

“Trinity’s deep understanding of India’s gaming creator ecosystem, coupled with their expertise in brand partnerships, agency activations, content creation, and community engagement, will be pivotal in further strengthening our footprint in the region," said Nodwin CEO and co-founder Akshat Rathee. 

“This acquisition allows us to offer more holistic solutions to our partners, from content creation to marketing services, while continuing to build a thriving gaming ecosystem in India.”

Trinity Gaming co-founder Abhishek Aggarwal added: “The synergy between our teams will accelerate our vision of creating unmatched opportunities for content creators in India, expanding the gaming ecosystem while helping brands connect more deeply with this highly engaged audience."
