Esports media company YaLLa Esports is set to launch two flagship tournaments in Qatar and the UAE in 2026.

The company shared that two LAN tournaments will take place next year, with a 1.5 million prize pool. In 2026, it will hold three events across Qatar, UAE, and an undecided location.

YaLLa Esports has injected $12.5 million to accelerate the growth of esports in the MENA region over the next two years. The funds will drive expansions that will elevate player and fan experiences.

Creating new experiences

“It’s an extraordinary time for esports in the MENA region,” said YaLLa Esports CEO Klaus Kajetski. “With the expanded YaLLa Compass circuit, we’re not only growing our presence but also creating new experiences that set a global standard for fan engagement, innovation, and player development.

“This expansion reflects our vision to make the Middle East a vibrant hub for esports, where players and fans alike come together to celebrate the future of competitive gaming.”

YaLLa Esports hosted an exclusive, invite-only leadership event earlier this year, gathering key industry figures to discuss partnerships and strengthen ties within MENA’s esports sector.

The 2025 and 2026 seasons will further develop these business connections to foster impactful discussions on the role of esports in MENA.
