Venture Capital firm Konvoy has invested an undisclosed sum into Imagine Island developer Magic Potion Games.
Konvoy says it is impressed with Magic Potion Games' focus on online safety and believes that a partnership with privacy and safety experts will provide parents with peace of mind while kids enjoy the game.
The VC firm led the pre-seed round for Magic Potion Games with participation from 1AM Gaming, 1Up Ventures, GFR Fund, Goodwater Capital, and Wheelhouse Venture.
A changing landscape
“The gaming landscape is changing, especially for younger audiences," Konvoy shared in a post. “Parents want to know their children are engaging in online experiences that are not only entertaining but also secure.
“Imagine Island delivers just that - an imaginative, story-driven virtual world that provides children with the freedom to explore and create, while incorporating top-tier safety features from day one."
