Block Blast! surges past 40m daily active users

Block Blast! from casual mobile games developer Hungry Studio has surpassed 40 million daily average users (DAU) and 160 million monthly average users (MAU) globally. 

Since its launch on Android and iOS devices in 2021, the title has attracted over 200 million players globally. The game combines accessible gameplay with puzzles that require skill and practice to master. 

Players can enhance logical skills and train their brains through the game's Block Adventure Mode and Classic Block Puzzle modes.

A bold vision 

Discussing its development strategy, Hungry Studio said it relies on A/B testing, AI robotics, and leaderless ideation for the creative process and devising appropriate monetisation strategies. 

The company said it sees ‘experience equality’ as its core value and emphasises creating inclusive gaming environments that players of all backgrounds can equally enjoy.
