Huawei has reportedly removed multiple Tencent mobile games from the top lists of its AppGallery marketplace as part of what appears to be another dispute between the two firms.

As reported by the South China Morning Post, most of its titles are said to have vanished from the top rankings. That left games like Eggy Party, Identity V, and Fantasy Westward Journey from the publisher's rival NetEase at the top of the rankings.

It is unclear why and when the games were removed. The titles are still available to download on AppGallery.

Rift reignited

A month ago, Tencent itself removed its new blockbuster release Dungeon & Fighter Mobile from Huawei's store, as well as from Oppo and Vivo.

The publisher claimed the removal from Chinese Android platforms was due to expired contracts.

A previous dispute between Huawei and Tencent in January 2021 saw Huawei briefly remove Tencent's mobile games from its marketplace. The titles were available again after "friendly negotiations" between the firms to resolve the matter.
