Roblox hits $1.1 billion bookings in Q3 as it cuts losses

Roblox revenue rose by 29% year-over-year to $919 million in Q3 as the company cut its losses on its road to profitability.
In its latest earnings report, the UGC platform reported $1.1 billion in bookings for the quarter, up 34% Y/Y. Total losses in Q3 stood at $240m, an improvement from $278m in the same quarter last year.
Console made up 8% of total bookings, while 92% came from non-console platforms, including PC and mobile. Non-console bookings saw 28% growth Y/Y.
Daily active users on Roblox grew 27% Y/Y to 88.9m, while monthly active users rose 30% to 19.1m.
Engagement hours hit 20.7 billion, a 29% increase, while average bookings per DAU rose to $12.70, up 6% Y/Y.
