Former NFL star and ex-Activision producer team up to launch new mobile game studio Marauder Tech

• Price of Glory is set to launch later this year on Android and iOS

Former NFL player Morgan Kane has launched a new mobile games studio named Marauder Tech.

Marauder Tech are a new, fully remote mobile studio with a focus on spearheading the next generation of mobile games development. 

Kane is at the helm of the studio's leadership alongside ex-Activision senior producer Joel Balyeat in the role of chief product officer.

Reshaping the turn-based genre 

“Marauder Tech started as an idea more than a decade ago. I’ve always enjoyed strategy games, but at the time, I didn’t have the resources available to start a game studio," said company founder Kane.

“In April of 2023, I decided to hire my first developer, and now, more than a year later, we’re ready to start slowly lifting the veil of what we’ve been working on for the past year and a half."

CPO Balyeat added: “Our goal with Marauder’s maiden title is to provide a unique take on the turn-based genre. The focus on our first title is that players can play it when and wherever they want without feeling extreme time constraints for their moves.”

Marauder tech is a self-funded studio with a 22-person diverse remote staff. They're currently developing a turn-based strategy mobile game entitled Price of Glory which is set to launch later this year on Android and iOS.
